Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Lawrence police helped the Topeka Police Department recover a stolen vehicle that was found at Home Depot, 1910 W. 31st St. A 40-year-old Clearview City woman reported to Lawrence police that the 1999 black Pontiac Grand AM valued at $10,000 was in the parking lot. The incident occurred about 2 p.m. Tuesday.

Injury accidents

¢ A 24-year-old DeSoto woman was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital Wednesday after two vehicles collided on U.S. Highway 59. A 23-year-old Lawrence woman was driving a 2003 Mitsubishi Galant westbound on U.S. 59 when Meghan McDowell-Shotton, who was driving a 2005 Dodge Stratus, entered the roadway from Bluffs Drive onto the highway, causing the collision. The accident occurred at 5:21 p.m. McDowell-Shotton is in fair condition at LMH.

Condition reports

¢ Daniel Tuttle, 18, Olathe, is still in serious condition at Kansas University Hospital in Kansas City, Kan., and Amber Henke, 18, Downs, is in fair condition after a vehicle accident early Tuesday morning near Kanas University. According to a hospital official, Tyler Duncan, 18, Lawrence, was no longer at the hospital.
