Police calls

¢ Lawrence police received 20 reports of criminal damage between 7:35 p.m. Thursday and 9:40 a.m. Friday. Ten incidents occurred on Thursday, including eight broken vehicle windows from the 900 to 1800 block of West 23rd Street and two broken glass doors of buildings in the 2300 block of Ridge Court. Total estimated damages are $1,500.

On Friday, 10 more incidents of vehicle damage and broken business windows occurred beginning at 5:58 a.m. A vehicle was damaged in the 1200 block of Louisiana Street, and a driver’s side mirror on a vehicle was damaged in the 600 block of West 12th Street. The estimated mirror damage was $180.

The businesses are Pride Cleaners, 2540 Iowa St., American Family Insurance, 2420 Iowa St. and Cathy’s Showcase Pet Grooming, 2420 Iowa St.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ A 50-year-old Lawrence woman reported a 2004 Pontiac Grand Am stolen from the 1300 block of Westbrooke Street. The theft occurred between 7 p.m. Aug. 10 and 10 p.m. Wednesday. The vehicle was valued at $10,000.

¢ A 38-year-old Lawrence woman reported the theft of a Dell flat-screen TV valued at $1,000. The crime happened between 7:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Thursday in the 1900 block of East 19th Street.
