Injury accidents
¢ A Lawrence man and Eudora man were involved in an injury accident at 4:20 p.m. Thursday at Kansas Highway 10 and Wakarusa Drive. David Haynes, of Lawrence, was transported to Lawrence Memorial Hospital after he failed to stop at a stop light, striking the vehicle of Michael Cook, 54, of Eudora, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Cook refused treatment.
Both men we wearing their seat belts, according to a Kansas Highway Patrol report. Haynes, 60, was treated and released, according to an LMH nursing supervisor.
