Lawrence police are investigating the theft of $37,750 worth of construction equipment, including a small Bobcat, Sunday from the 1700 block of Tennessee Street.

Police reported that a Bobcat Uniloader valued at $36,000, a loader bucket valued at $1,000 and a loader fork valued at $750 were taken between 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday from a construction site.

The equipment belonged to the Ziegler Corp. of Lawrence.
