Law enforcement report

¢ A 20-year-old Olathe woman was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday morning after she was the victim of an apparent hit-and-run incident.

Samantha Feaker was crossing Sixth Street shortly before 2 a.m. when a westbound vehicle struck her in the road and then drove off.

Feaker was treated and released Saturday.

A police report had no description of the vehicle.

Injury accidents

¢ A Lawrence woman remained hospitalized Saturday following a late-night accident Friday on Kansas Highway 10 in De Soto.

Mischelene E. Mathe, 28, had her 1997 Mercury station wagon pulled over on the shoulder of K-10 when a 2000 Ford pickup truck driven by Robert L. Drury, 53, Lawrence, rear-ended her after exiting off Lexington Avenue.

Both Mathe and Drury were taken to Overland Park Regional Medical Center. Drury was treated and released while Mathe was in stable condition on Saturday.

¢ A 31-year-old Oskaloosa resident was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital on Saturday following a one-vehicle accident on County Road 102 in Jefferson County.

Landon Stevenson, 21, Oskaloosa, was driving a 1982 GMC truck northbound on County Road at Osage Road, about a mile and a half west of Oskaloosa city limits when the vehicle entered the west ditch and rolled, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Robert Edwards, 21, McClouth, was also in the vehicle. Stevenson and Edwards were not injured, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol. Neither was wearing a seat belt.
