Subaru Safety program offered for children

Bossier Nissan Subaru in Lawrence is offering parents a chance to have their children’s images and fingerprints captured in a take-home file that can be given to authorities in case a child goes missing.

The S.I.P. (Safety in Prints) Kids Program will have its equipment from noon to 6 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the dealer, 2112 W. 29th Terrace.

The program includes photos of each child and fingerprints – taken digitally, without ink – along with personal data.

The information is consolidated onto a single sheet, which parents receive and retain the only copy.

The information is not stored in a database.

For more information, contact the dealership at 856-8889, or S.I.P. Kids at (319) 233-1321.
