Robert Fox, vice president of sales and marketing at Allen Press Inc., Lawrence, will be a featured speaker at the Book Publishing Strategies for Associations and Societies seminar, a one-day workshop Tuesday in Bethesda, Md.

The event will include an introduction to basic book publishing, marketing and financial strategies for nonprofits with an emphasis on associations and societies.

The workshop is sponsored by the North American Chapter of the Association of Learned and Professional Society Publishers. Allen Press will provide online registration for the workshop.
