Treanor Architects hires info officer

Treanor Architects, Lawrence, has hired Eric Hiebert to serve as chief information officer.

Hiebert has more than 20 years of experience in creating information systems for architectural firms, plus construction, information technology, and telecommunication departments at Kansas University.

At KU, Hiebert led workflow enhancements for Information Services, creating Web-accessible project dashboard and drilldown instruments for use by project managers and administrators, and establishing the vision and strategies of integrating electronic floor plan information with other university database information.

He earned a bachelor’s degree in architecture from KU in 1988 and a Master of Business Administration degree from Rockhurst University in 2002. Hiebert also has taught computer-assisted design and Web design as an adjunct professor in the KU School of Engineering for more than 10 years.
