Injury accidents
¢ An Ottawa man was taken to Ransom Memorial Hospital with minor injuries following a two-vehicle wreck about 8:10 a.m. Wednesday 10 miles east of Ottawa on Kansas Highway 68.
Both vehicles involved, a 1997 Chevrolet truck driven by William Swarnes, 20, of Rich Hill, Mo., and a 1989 GMC truck driven by Clark R. Lambred, 49, Ottawa, were going west on Highway 68. Swarnes was following too closely and rear-ended Lambred’s truck, according to the Kansas Highway Patrol.
