Law enforcement report

¢ Lawrence police arrived at 2:05 a.m. March 31 to the 1600 block of Tennessee to respond to a disturbance where 10 to 15 people were gathered in a courtyard. A 21-year-old man reported he was hit in the head with a large metal object while breaking up a fight. He refused medical treatment and did not want to pursue charges.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ 1300 block of Tennessee: A $1,200 laptop computer was stolen between 1:45 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. Sunday from two Kansas University students’ apartment.

¢ 2800 block of West Sixth Street: A 29-year-old Ottawa woman reported her 1996 Dodge Charger stolen between 11 p.m. and 11:05 p.m. Sunday.

¢ 1000 block of Maine Street: A 24-year-old Kansas University student reported $5,000 in guitar parts and accessories stolen from his vehicle between 10:30 p.m. Sunday and 12:26 a.m. Monday.

¢ 700 block of Kentucky: A gold 2002 Toyota Tacoma valued at $15,000 was reported stolen at 4:13 a.m. Sunday.
