Aldrich scores two in all-star competition

? Kansas University signee Cole Aldrich scored two points off 1-of-7 shooting with nine rebounds in the East’s 144-123 loss to the West in Tuesday’s Roundball Classic at the United Center.

Aldrich, a 6-foot-11 center from Bloomington, Minn., had three assists, three blocks, a steal and a turnover in 21 minutes. He picked up one foul.

Forward James Hickson scored 24 points off 12-of-17 shooting, while center Kevin Love had 21 points and 16 boards, for the winners.

O.J. Mayo scored 27 points with six assists for the losing East squad.
