Home schooling is a growing trend in Lawrence and across the country, but it’s often misunderstood.

In an effort to demystify home education, the Journal-World and 6News are working on a series of stories that explore the practice. We’ll introduce you to families who educate at home, what a typical school day is like for them and what motivates them. We’ll talk about resources available to parent educators, from curriculum guides to social networks.
