The Clinton Lake Corps of Engineers is looking for volunteers who are looking to get outdoors this spring and join several other volunteers Saturday, April 28, for the Annual Clinton Lake Clean-up.

Immediate volunteer needs

¢ Success by 6 Coalition of Lawrence seeks volunteers to assist with childcare on behalf of parents attending the Parenting with Love and Logic workshop. Several volunteers are needed to care for children from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday from April 7 to May 12. Some training will be provided.

¢ Health Care Access is in need of volunteers to help with their annual Lawrence Half Marathon and 5k. The event will begin at 8 a.m. April 15. More than 150 volunteers are needed to help with registration, course and water station monitors, setup and cleanup, baking, distributing food items and as parking coordinators.

¢ Operation WildLife has openings this spring for animal caretaker volunteers on Tuesdays and Thursdays. A volunteer is also needed in the front office to perform clerical work with a flexible schedule included.
