Easter egg hunts scheduled around area
Egg hunters, grab your baskets.
The Parks and Recreation Department and Hy-Vee Food and Drug Stores will put on an Easter egg hunt from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at South Park.
Children with last names beginning with A through M will hunt from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Children with last names beginning with N through Z will hunt from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.
The department also will have an underwater egg hunt at 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the Indoor Aquatic Center, 4706 Overland Drive. There is a $3 fee to participate.
