Baker University end Andrew Patch has been named Heart of America Athletic Conference defensive player of the week following the Wildcats’ 27-24 overtime victory Saturday at William Jewell.

Patch, a 6-foot-2, 238-pound sophomore from Shawnee Mission West, was credited with 11 solo tackles, including four sacks, and forced a fumble in BU’s first victory over the Cardinals since 2000.
