What he did: Williams rushed for 167 yards and three touchdowns Friday to help the Lions down Topeka High, 52-28, and secure a spot in the Class 6A state playoffs. It was Williams’ seventh 100-yard game and pushed him past the 1,000-yard mark for the season.

What she did: Pogge, a Perry-Lecompton student who is allowed to compete with the Firebirds, did both schools proud Saturday, winning the all-around at the regional meet in Newton. Pogge scored 36.20 points to secure her second straight invite to the state meet.
