Traffic accident injures four, including child

Four people, including one child, were taken to the hospital by ambulance Sunday after a two-car wreck in Eudora.

A blue four-door car pulled away from a stop sign at 12th and Elm streets, and a Ford truck traveling north on Elm hit the car on the passenger side, Eudora Police officers said.

Drivers on Elm Street do not have to stop at the intersection, while 12th Street drivers do.

The officers said the car’s driver was given three citations, one for failing to yield to oncoming traffic, but said the incident still was under investigation.

The injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.
