Law enforcement report

¢ Someone threw a pumpkin through the rear window of a 1997 pickup truck between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning while the truck was parked in the 800 block of Missouri Street. Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call the Lawrence Police Department at 832-7509 or the Crime Stoppers hot line, 843-TIPS.

¢ A Lawrence man was arrested at 11:40 p.m. Friday after police found a Ruger 9 mm pistol in his possession along with a bag of what was thought to be marijuana, according to a Lawrence Police report. The arrest was made after the car the suspect was driving was stopped at 13th and Vermont streets because the car’s headlights were not on.
