A man attempted to abduct two young girls from their home Saturday, the Ottawa Police Department said.

The girls were playing in the backyard of their home when about 11 a.m. the suspect allegedly tried to entice them into his car.

The suspect is described as 40 years old with a white goatee and wearing an orange coat and blue jeans. He was driving a 1980s-model brown vehicle with rust on it.
