T to give free rides for national event
Area residents will have a chance to ride the T for free Thursday.
The city’s public transit system will be giving free rides all day as part of Communities in Motion Day, a national event designed to promote the benefits of public transportation.
The T operates from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m. Route maps are available online at www.lawrencetransit.org.
