Legislators to address senior issues at forum
Those with concerns about issues affecting seniors can have their voices heard at a legislative forum this afternoon at the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vt.
The Interagency Network for Aging forum will feature Rep. Ann Mah, D-Topeka; Sen. Roger Pine, R-Lawrence; Rep. Paul Davis, D-Lawrence; Rep. Barbara Ballard, D-Lawrence; Rep. Tom Sloan, R-Lawrence; and Rep. Tom Holland, D-Baldwin.
Rosemary Kennedy Chapin, director of the Office of Aging and Long-Term Care at Kansas University, will moderate the forum. Registration begins at 1:30 p.m. The forum is scheduled from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.
