KU residence hall rooms burglarized

More than $4,000 worth of computer equipment was stolen from separate rooms in Oliver Hall on Sunday, the Kansas University Public Safety Office reported.

According to police reports, three laptop computers and two iPods were stolen from Oliver Hall rooms between 2 a.m. and 10 a.m. Sunday morning.

All three incidents are considered aggravated burglaries and thefts.

No arrests have yet been made, but KU police said the incidents may be related.

The office recommended that students lock their doors and record the serial numbers of their electronic equipment.
