FCB Bank in De Soto announces the hiring of Dave Hosek, Lawrence, as the bank’s vice president for residential lending, working out of an office in Lawrence and, by the end of this year, De Soto.

Hosek’s responsibilities include working with individuals to arrange financing for home purchases, construction and refinancing. He also works in commercial lending.

FCB Bank’s Lawrence office is at 3110 Mesa Way, and a new bank is being built at 33485 Lexington in De Soto.

The bank is part of First Community Bancshares, which operates 17 locations in eastern Kansas and west-central Missouri. The banks have assets of $501 million.
