Kansas Republican Party officials and officeholders will embark on a three-day campaign tour that will include a stop in Lawrence.

Dubbed "The Sunflower Express," the tour bus is expected to cover 2,000 miles from today through Saturday.

The tour is scheduled to stop in Lawrence at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Douglas County GOP Headquarters, 2300 W. 31st.

"I invite all Kansans to participate in this exciting adventure when The Sunflower Express comes to their town," said state GOP executive director Ron Freeman.

Wonder what'll happen when the bus shows up . . . and no people do.

Republicans are through. They have lied, betrayed, deceived, ruined, lost. Time for them to go.

It seems that some who post on this site aren't keeping up with the times: our beloved Kansas is going blue!

Fundamentalist Christian conservative Republicans are therefore invited to leave and take up residence in their ideological home - Missouri.

Free State forever!
