5:30 p.m.-7:30 p.m.: Period music, with auto harps, dulcimer, banjo and more.

¢ Battlefield tours: Black Jack cabin tours by the Santa Fe Trail Historical Society; prairie tours by the Native Plant Society.

6 p.m.: Campfire supper of buffalo stew, cornbread, mixed berry cobbler, $20 in advance, $25 at the gate, $6 for children under 12.

7:30 p.m.: “John Brown’s Letter to His Wife,” portrayal by Arnold Schofield.

June 3

7:30 a.m.: Breakfast of sausage, gravy, biscuits, fruit and coffee, $10 in advance or $12 at the gate, $5 for children under 12.

8:30 a.m.: Invocation by the Reverend Adair, portrayed by Ron Rushley.

9 a.m.: Portrayal of August Bondi by Bill Worley and “appearance” by John Brown.

10 a.m.: Music by the Blue & Gray Brigade.

1:30 p.m.-4:30 p.m.: Narrated motor coach tour of John Brown’s trail, visiting the Pottawatomie Massacre site, Osawatomie and other points of interest, $10, limited to 50 participants.
