New 4-H staffer will join extension office

A new 4-H youth and development agent will be joining the K-State Research and Extension office in Douglas County on June 4.

Emily Morehouse will be responsible for providing leadership and developing and delivering educational programs designed to build life skills in children and teenagers.

Morehouse worked as an intern at the Illinois State 4-H office and as a graduate teaching assistant for the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. She earned a bachelor’s degree in environmental communications and education and a master’s degree in agricultural education, both from Illinois.
