Monarch Watch has some butterfly-friendly plants left over from its May 13 open house.

“We still have about 400 to 500 plants,” said the program’s director, Chip Taylor. Varieties include tropical, swamp and common milkweed, lantana, pentas and butterfly bushes.

In exchange for a donation to Monarch Watch, plants may be picked up between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. today and Friday at Foley Hall on Kansas University’s west campus.
