KU rowing ties for 2nd with KSU at Big 12

? Host Kansas University tied for second place at the Big 12 Rowing Invitational on Sunday at Wyandotte County Lake.

KU tied Kansas State with 44 points to finish behind winner Texas, which had 56 points.

“I am very proud of how the team raced today,” Kansas coach Rob Catloth said. “They handled both the weather conditions and competition very well.”

KU boats placed second in Novice Four and Second Novice Eight and third in First Novice Eight.

Kansas was second in First Varsity Eight and third in Second Varsity Eight.
