Lawrence Police have taken three unrelated reports of rapes in recent days:

¢ A 14-year-old girl told police she was raped by a 16-year-old Lawrence male on Nov. 24 in a car in an unknown part of the city. She reported the incident Feb. 24. Police recently finished investigating and sent a report to the Douglas County District Attorney’s Office for possible charges.

¢ A 13-year-old Oskaloosa girl reported being raped between 9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. Thursday by an unidentified man at a gathering in the northwestern part of the city. She had come to Lawrence with friends, and the suspect was not known to her but was part of a group of people she was with, police said.

¢ A 12-year-old girl told police a 27-year-old family member raped her between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. March 20 in the southwest part of Lawrence. No arrests had been made as of Monday.
