Scouts from Pelathe District will be having their annual Scouting for Food drive April 8.

Youths will place notices and bags on the front door of residences in the city of Lawrence from March 25 to April 1. Residents are asked to fill the bags with nonperishable food items and place them on their porches before 9 a.m. April 8 when they will be picked up.

The food will be distributed to the following pantries: Ballard Community Center, ECKAN, First Baptist Church, Church of Christ, Leo Center, Pelathe Community Resource Center, Penn House, Trinity Episcopal Church and The Salvation Army.
