Vandals cause damage at Oak Hill Cemetery
A Lawrence cemetery ravaged by last week’s storm has now been targeted by vandals.
Police said Sunday someone spray-painted two headstones, a shed and a tree at Oak Hill Cemetery, 1605 Oak Hill Ave.
A damage amount has not yet been determined.
The vandalism comes on top of the nearly 30 trees and dozens of historic headstones destroyed by the March 12 microburst.
