Topeka ? Freshman Stef Stuever scored off a corner kick at 38:07 in the second half, and Lawrence High blanked Topeka Seaman, 1-0, on Thursday night in its girls soccer season-opener.

The goal was assisted by senior striker Megan Johnson. Freshman goalie Emma Lumpe recorded the shutout.

The Lions tied Seaman, 1-1, in the junior-varsity game. Becky Davis scored her first career goal on an assist from Stuever.

Next action for the Lions is April 4 at Free State.
