Daddy’s little girl

New York – Donald Trump’s boardroom just got a whole lot more uncomfortable.

Trump joked that he would date his 24-year-old daughter, Ivanka – if he weren’t her father – when the pair appeared Monday on ABC’s “The View” to promote her five-episode stint as a boardroom adviser on “The Apprentice.”

When asked how he would react if Ivanka, a former teen model, posed for Playboy, Trump replied, “It would be really disappointing – not really – but it would depend on what’s inside the magazine.”

He added: “I don’t think Ivanka would do that, although she does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”

His comments drew laughs from the audience, and prompted “View” co-host Joy Behar to crack, “Who are you, Woody Allen?”

Woodruff making progress

New York – Five weeks after ABC anchorman Bob Woodruff was seriously injured in an Iraqi explosion, he remains hospitalized but is able to say a few words and is starting to walk, his brother said Tuesday.

“In the last couple of days, he’s taken a lot of great leaps forward,” David Woodruff said. “He’s definitely doing so much better.”

Bob Woodruff and ABC cameraman Doug Vogt were standing in the hatch of an Iraqi mechanized vehicle, reporting on the war from the Iraqi troops’ perspective, when the roadside bomb exploded Jan. 29. Both were wearing body armor, which doctors say likely saved their lives.

Vogt left Bethesda Medical Center in late February and returned home to France, where he is undergoing rehabilitation, the network said.

They’ll always have Paris

Nashville, Tenn. – That was quick.

Dr. Travis Stork, the latest hunk to look for true love on ABC’s “The Bachelor,” didn’t find it with Sarah Stone.

Stork, an emergency room physician, chose Stone, an elementary school teacher, in the finale of the Paris-set reality show last week, but the couple told The Tennessean in a joint interview Monday they are no longer a couple.

Stork, 33, said the rules that prohibited them from dating or being together in public between the end of the show’s taping in November and the Feb. 27 finale were hard on their relationship.

“The reality is that we were in this fantasy world,” he said. “And now that we’re back in Nashville, over time when you’re not allowed to see someone, you grow apart.”
