¢ University Bridge Club announces the winners of its Feb. 25 game. Hosts were Karmie and Edna Galle.

Blue winners were Virginia Williams, first; Ray Ikenberry, second; Dale Kring, third; Paul Jordan, fourth; and Mary Jo Spotts, fifth.

Pink winners were Carolyn Jordan, first; Lois Liebert, second; Gladys Dight, third; Jane Golden, fourth; and Willie Stoltenberg, fifth.

¢ The Lawrence-Douglas County NAACP’s annual Soul Food Dinner will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 11 at First Baptist Church, 1330 Kasold Drive. The dinner benefits the NAACP Scholarship Fund.

The cost is $10 per plate. The menu includes smoked brisket, fried chicken, green beans, macaroni and cheese, sweet potatoes, corn bread and peach cobbler.

¢ The Pilot Club of Lawrence’s annual Antique Show and Sale is this weekend in Building 21 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. Show hours are 10 a.m.-6 p.m. today and 11 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday.

Admission is $2 for unlimited entry. The show has quality dealers from several states with authentic antiques such as china, glass, silver, linens, jewelry, small primitives, furniture, buttons, toys and post cards.
