Law enforcement report
¢ Leavenworth County sheriff’s officers arrested a Eudora man Sunday night after a car chase through southern Leavenworth County.
The chase began at 10:16 p.m. when Bonner Springs police officers tried to arrest 25-year-old Michael Milton on an outstanding warrant. The police officers then told sheriff’s officers that Milton tried to ram a police car.
No one was injured in the chase that ended with Milton’s car in a ditch near County Road 2 and Golden Road, according to an accident report.
According to the report, Milton’s girlfriend and three children, ages 3, 7 and 10, also were in the car. He was arrested on two charges of aggravated assault of a law enforcement officer, two charges of child endangerment and charges of attempting to flee and elude an officer.
