The Lawrence Public Library will celebrate July with a “Dance and Romance” film series.

Four classic Fred Astaire-Ginger Rogers movies will be shown at 7 p.m. Fridays on the big screen in the library auditorium, 707 Vt.

The schedule: “Top Hat,” July 7; “Follow the Fleet,” July 14; “Swing Time,” July 21, and “Shall We Dance,” July 28.

Popcorn will be provided, and beverages are allowed. The movies are free and open to the public.
