Landscaping Nursery manager earns certification
Lyle Turner, nursery manager for Lawrence Landscape Inc., recently passed an exam to receive the Certified Landscape Professional designation from the Professional Landscape Network, known as PLANET.
Turner is one of 14 professionals in Kansas to have received the designation. Three work for Lawrence Landscape.
Turner received bachelor’s and master’s degrees in horticulture from Kansas State University and has more than 40 years of horticultural experience. He manages the company’s tree farm along Kansas Highway 10, plus a nursery and greenhouses in North Lawrence; Turner also orders materials for a variety of landscaping projects.
