Filmmakers give copy of DVD to Sebelius

? Two Lawrence filmmakers met with Gov. Kathleen Sebelius on Monday and gave her a DVD of their new documentary about hurricane-ravaged New Orleans.

Oliver Hall, associate producer of “C.S.A.: The Confederate States of America,” and Eric Hyde, a Kansas University student, made “Katrina: the Hurricane that Changed America.”

This independent documentary will be released in September or early October.

For their next film project, Hall and Hyde are planning to float the entire length of the Mississippi River with explorer Papa Neutrino.
