Therapist visits Omaha symposium
Randy Freivogel, a physical therapist at TherapyWorks PA and program director for Kansas Center for Athletic Medicine, Lawrence, recently attended the annual Omaha Sports Medicine Alliance Summer Symposium.
The symposium, which featured both local and national speakers, included a presentation, “Recent Advances in the Athletic Elbow, Wrist and Hand.” The feature presentation of the conference was on recognition and treatment of elbow problems related to throwing and pitching.
Attending the symposium were physical and occupational therapists and athletic trainers.
Freivogel is a graduate of the Mayo Clinic School of Health Sciences.
