Lawrence Community Theatre will have auditions for “CHAPS!” at 7 p.m. Aug. 7-Aug. 8 at the theater, 1501 N.H.

Roles are available for five men and one woman who can sing tight harmonies. Those auditioning are asked to prepare a short song – cowboy music preferred. Newcomers are welcome.

The show is under the direction of Mary Doveton with musical direction by Judy Heller. It will open Sept. 22 and run through Oct. 8.
