Soybean futures increased Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mixed. Wheat for September delivery fell 6 3/4 cents to $4.00 1/2 a bushel; September corn rose 1 3/4 cent to $2.39 a bushel; September oats rose 2 1/2 cents to $1.92 1/4 a bushel; August soybeans rose 6 1/4 cents to $5.83 1/4 a bushel.

Beef futures declined on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures were mixed. August live cattle fell 1.60 cent to 82.67 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell 2.27 cents to $1.1335 a pound; August lean hogs rose .33 cent to 67.70 cents a pound; August pork bellies fell 1.80 cent to 90.05 cents a pound.
