Baker hires new fundraising leader
Lyn Lakin starts next week as Baker University’s vice president of University Relations.
Beginning Monday, Lakin will oversee Baker’s primary fundraising efforts. She comes to the job after serving as executive director of the Diabetes Freedom Foundation in Kansas City, Mo.
She also has worked as national director of Development and Chapter Operations at National Alliance for Autism Research in Princeton, N.J.; assistant vice chancellor of University Advancement at the University of Missouri-Kansas City; and regional director at Juvenile Diabetes Foundation International in New York.
