KU women’s coach leads arthritis effort
To spread the word about walking to fight arthritis, Kansas University women’s basketball coach Bonnie Henrickson will speak at a kickoff luncheon on Thursday.
Henrickson is the spokeswoman for the Kansas Chapter of the Arthritis Foundation.
The kickoff luncheon begins at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Eldridge Hotel, 701 Mass. Those interested can learn more about forming a team for the first Lawrence Arthritis Walk, which will be April 22 at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center.
