Tech coach has angiogram

? Texas Tech coach Marsha Sharp was in good condition late Thursday after undergoing an angiogram ordered because of earlier tests that had suggested blockage in a coronary artery, the university said.

The angiogram found no problem with the arteries or any heart damage, the university said in a release. Instead it found a muscle bridge or band over the left coronary artery that led to initial abnormal test results, the university said.

Sharp, 53, had undergone a stress test in Lubbock after she fell ill before the Raiders’ loss to Oklahoma on Jan. 18. That led to the angiogram.

Sharp, who missed her first game in her 24-year career on the bench against Oklahoma, is expected to make a complete and rapid recovery.
