Have Medicare questions?
A coordinator for Senior Health Insurance Counseling for Kansas will present information in Lawrence for seniors on the new Medicare prescription drug program.
Coordinator Katie Glendening will begin the sessions at 10 a.m. on Mondays beginning in January at the studio of the Lawrence Senior Center, 745 Vt. A question and answer period will follow each session.
The senior center will be closed on the Mondays of Jan. 2 and Jan. 16 for holidays.
Volunteer counselors with SHICK will also be available from 10 a.m. to noon on Mondays in the senior center’s computer lab. The counselors will help seniors narrow down their Medicare plan choices.
