The Lied Center will present TAP DOGS, an Australian dance ensemble with industrial-strength vitality, at a 7:30 p.m. show Jan. 24.

Six young blokes from Newcastle, Australia’s largest industrial city, come to the Lied Center clad in boots, jeans and flannel shirts to combine the strength and power of male workmen with the precision and talent of tap dancing.

Tickets are $39 and $45 for the general public, with discounts for senior citizens, children, students and Kansas University faculty.
