Kansas University graduate and Kansas City businessman Bryce Gahagan, 28, will be a contestant on season five of NBC’s “The Apprentice.” The season premiere is Feb. 27.

Gahagan is a 2000 graduate of KU and co-founder of Gahagan-Eddy Building Co., a residential contractor in the Kansas City area. He said he simply tried out for the show and was selected. Gahagan said he doesn’t want to be fired by Donald Trump.

“You want to go all the way,” he said.
