KU employee injured in fall

A KU employee is seriously injured this morning after slipping and falling at a campus dining hall.

KU police spokesman Schuyler Bailey says the male employee slipped and struck his head on the ground while working at Mrs. E’s on the main floor of Lewis Hall around 8:30 this morning.

The man was taken from Lewis Hall to the Lied Center parking lot — where he was flown by air ambulance to the University of Kansas Hospital in Kansas City.

His name was unavailable late this morning.
