Jane Tuttle was elected chairwoman of the La Leche League International board of directors during a meeting March 11-12 in Schaumburg, Ill. The board of directors has 13 members from around the world. Jane was first elected to the board in 2004 and most recently served as the secretary.

Tuttle has been a leader in Lawrence since 1986 and has served Kansas La Leche League in a variety of positions. Tuttle is an active member of the Douglas County Breastfeeding Action Task Force.
