The Meadowlark 4-H Club met April 11 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. Kyle Morgison, vice president, presided during the meeting.

The club sang “Happy Birthday” to members who celebrated April birthdays. Laura Kennard was a guest.

Will Pendleton received recognition for being a state winner in entomology. He will compete at the national level.

Members were reminded that the deadline for project changes is May 1.

The next meeting will be at Pendleton’s farm with a cookout for senior night. Members are to bring nonperishable food items for donation.
